How are parents involved?
We believe that an important part of student success is parent involvement, so it is our goal to keep parents well-informed about what’s going on in their student’s classroom. Teachers encourage parents to take an active role in their student’s education, and teachers communicate regularly with parents through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and emails. We believe in working together to help your child succeed.
Do students wear uniforms?
Students are given a variety of flexible clothing options. This helps focus our school day on learning, rather than on external factors such as clothing. Parents are given dress requirements upon enrollment.
What are school hours? What is the school calendar like?
The school day runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The school year generally starts after Labor Day in September and ends the last week in May. Breaks are given for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and other holidays.
