Glory Academy considers grades one through six their elementary years. These are foundational years when students learn to stay focused and to develop critical thinking skills. They broaden their study skills and practice being organized in their daily work and class habits. They build friendships with their classmates and learn to interact confidently and appropriately with teachers and other adults. Elementary students are taught by experienced teachers that have the passion and expertise to empower students to succeed.
Repetition and review from year to year help students build their knowledge in each subject area. The students will experience a rich and well-rounded curriculum in the areas of intensive phonics, reading, grammar, vocabulary, literature, composition, spelling and handwriting, history, science, traditional math, and Bible. Physical education, art, and music are valued components that further enrich the curriculum.
